Aimee B. Clesi, O’Brien, is a senior at the University of Florida, where she is completingdouble majors in Philosophy and History. A first-generation college student, Aimee is amember of the University of Florida’s Honors Program. Her honors thesis focuses on racialdisparities in death penalty sentencing in the U.S. She has pursued multiple legal internships,including with the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Northern District of Floridaand the American Bar Association Death Penalty Representation Project. At Oxford, Aimee plans to pursue a DPhil in Criminology and focus her research on wrongful conviction andthe execution of innocent persons.
