Kudzai Mbinda
Biography
Kudzai is a final year Chemical Engineering student at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York, USA. Before university, he attended the African Leadership Academy where he completed a two- year diploma program focused on developing the next generation of African leaders. Through his coursework and engineering clubs at Rochester, he has done research on batteries and solar power. He enjoys playing sports and is a member of the University of Rochester’s Track and Field team. Kudzai is passionate about using engineering to leverage Zimbabwe’s vast natural resources to address the energy, economic, and social challenges the country faces. At Oxford, he intends to study energy systems.
